Job Description Data Management and Automation Specialist 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract, full-time, with competitive remuneration and benefits Location: Wellington - Upper Hutt, New Zealand Career growth: Expand your expertise in a growing, successful industry Professional development: Gain valuable experience in a dynamic, evolving role The Data & Automation Specialist is responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency through the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, automation of manual workflows, and management of sales performance data. This role supports Sales & Customer enablement by delivering accurate, timely reporting and automating processes. What You Will Do Responsibilities include, however not limited to: Analytics, Dashboards & Reporting Migrate and develop scalable self-service dashboards in Power BI (Power Business Intelligence) Report and analyse data from CRM (Customer Relationship Management), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and third-party sources Maintain data accuracy and a single source of truth Support business reviews with dashboards and ad hoc analysis Administration Design templates and algorithms for territory target allocation Integrate targets into dashboards and align with Finance and BU (Business Unit) leaders Manage SAP (Systems Applications and Products) customer account creation and lifecycle for NZ meeting activation KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) Maintain accurate master data across CRM, ERP and finance/rebate platforms Manage SIP (Sales Incentive Plan) targets, including allocation templates, dashboards and budget alignment Automation & Process Improvement Identify and automate manual workflows (data, pricing, rebates, reporting) Optimise CRM/SAP usage and improve downstream tools and integrations Standardise processes, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and training; ensure policy compliance Data Integration & Quality Co-own master data processes and definitions with the Lead Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) from SAP, Salesforce, Oracle and third-party sources Ensure data accuracy, security, documentation and audit readiness Partner with global teams (BSC - Business Service Centre, AR - Accounts Receivable, MDM - Master Data Management, IT) to maintain data integrity, system health and financial alignment What You Must have Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor degree in Economics /Computer Science/ Engineering • Technical skills: SQL/Power BI/Cloud Solutions/ Data Bricks/ Python • Solid prior experience in Business analytics and Data Engineering projects • Ability to work with huge data arrays and significant all-around accuracy in work Essential: Proven hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard development and SQL querying Strong knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, and Amazon Redshift data environments Experience automating business processes using RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Power Automate or similar tools Demonstrated ability to manage complex data integration and reporting projects Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams Desirable: Experience in sales operations or commercial data environments Familiarity with sales incentive programs and territory target setting processes What You Can Expect Work autonomously whilst being supported, encouraged and being part of a trusted Global Leading Animal Health organisation Exposure to upskill and develop in your role Flexibility and opening doors to other opportunities and skillsets Joining a collaborative team of likeminded individuals We are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing talented and committed people together.
