Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for the part-time position of Certified Veterinary Technician - Adjunct on the Cocoa Campus in Cocoa, Florida. The Veterinary Technology program is actively hiring Certified Veterinary Technicians to teach in either clinical or laboratory courses.

Salary & Benefit Position Concept Minimum Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for this position include:

Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from a regionally accredited institution.
Current Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification.
Two years of previous Veterinary Technician work experience required.
Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator's license required.
A review of Social Media activity will be part of the candidate evaluation process.
This position will require successful fingerprinting and drug screening. The candidate chosen will be required to pay the associated fees (currently $36.00/$65.15).The fingerprinting and drug screening fees ($36.00/$65.15) are non-refundable.

High school or GED diplomas or transcripts or official transcripts of all collegiate work (as appropriate for the position) must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment. All foreign degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc.
