Eastwood Veterinary Clinic is a brand new, independently owned small-animal practice opening between January and February 2026. We are excited to bring compassionate, judgment-free, and high-quality care to the pets (and people) of our community.
We’re looking for a dedicated, adaptable Veterinary Assistant who’s excited to help us build a neighborhood clinic that’s rooted in teamwork, warmth, and exceptional care. This role is ideal for someone who’s confident in their skills, eager to take initiative, and ready to grow into a long-term, integral part of our team.
This position starts as a 2-month contract (minimum 32 hours per week) during launch, then transitions to a full-time (40 hours/week), salaried position based on mutual fit.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in assisting medical and surgical cases in a veterinary clinical setting
- Strong animal-handling and client communication skills
- Versed in medical terminology and comfortable with scribing / medical documentation
- Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Professional references required (from a prior employer, client, or educational setting)
