AgSource is seeking a strategic, results-driven remote Agronomic Sales & Consulting Services Manager to lead our agronomic sales efforts and oversee our consulting team in Wisconsin. This role combines sales leadership, team development, and technical agronomy expertise to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all agronomic sales activities across AgSource, focusing on revenue growth and client expansion.
- Mentor and develop the agronomic sales and consulting teams, strengthening capabilities and accountability.
- Build and execute strategic sales plans to grow services, penetrate markets, and expand client relationships.
- Collaborate with consultants to provide technical guidance and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Support development and implementation of Nutrient Management Plans (NMPs) and stay current on regulations and industry trends.
- Track performance metrics and progress toward sales and service goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with producers, dealers, extension personnel, and agribusiness partners.
- Align internal teams to enhance customer experience and ensure cohesive service delivery.
- Promote safety standards and actively participate in required meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) – Wisconsin certification preferred; other states a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in agronomy, Nutrient Management Planning, precision agriculture, or similar field.
- Proven success developing, coaching, and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Experience managing professional services or business unit teams.
- Ability to interpret P&L statements and contribute to budgeting.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in agronomic software and data tools.
- Ability to manage a geographically dispersed team.
- Balanced commercial mindset with technical agronomy expertise.
