Are you an experienced veterinary receptionist or a vet nurse looking to step away from the nursing side of the industry? The Animal Emergency Centre at Woolloongabba is looking for a new addition to our client care team.
As a 24-hour facility, a variety of shifts are required including nights and weekends, but we’re primarily looking for someone to step into night shifts with confidence (latest finish 12:00AM/midnight).
As a client care representative with AEC, you'll be the first point of contact at the front desk of a busy veterinary clinic and for a high-volume of phone calls from concerned pet owners.
No two nights are ever the same, and you’ll be working with a dedicated team of vets, nurses and client care team members to provide the highest standard of care to our furry patients. Read on to see if you might be the right fit for our team:

Ability to manage multiple competing priorities – you’ll be attending to both Greencross GP Clinic clients and Animal Emergency Clients
About You:
You’re a confident, professional, and emotionally resilient individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting. To be successful in this role, you will have:

2+ years in Veterinary reception or nursing role preferred, but confidence in the medical field also considered

Strong initiative and ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
-
A reliable, positive, and proactive attitude
-
A natural ability to stay calm and empathetic, even under pressure

A passion for animals and delivering outstanding customer service
