About the Role
We’re looking for a Precision Farming Service & Sales Manager to join our precision ag team. You are required to manage service technicians, while also driving sales growth across our customer base. This role blends technical expertise, customer support, and sales leadership—perfect for someone who knows precision ag technology and enjoys working directly with growers and ag professionals.
You’ll oversee service technicians, support and train customers, manage sales efforts, and help grow precision farming technologies that improve efficiency and profitability. Start signal subscriptions and help manage the business logistics -order and help keep track of parts inventory.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage precision farming service technicians
· Sell Precision Ag solutions such as GPS guidance, variable rate equipment, data management, and related hardware/software
· Build and maintain strong relationships with growers
· Train customers and internal staff on precision ag products
· Develop sales strategies, meet or exceed sales goals
· Coordinate service schedules and ensure timely, high-quality customer support
· Stay current on new precision ag technologies and industry trends
· Collaborate with management to improve service offerings and customer experience
Qualifications
· Experience in precision agriculture, ag technology, or related field
· Proven sales experience, preferably in agriculture or ag equipment
· Strong understanding of GPS, mapping, data platforms, and variable rate applications
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
· Ability to travel locally/regionally
· Valid driver’s license
Preferred (but Not Required)
· Experience managing or leading a team
· Farm operations background
· Familiarity with major precision ag brands and software platforms
