We are looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is energetic, self-motivated and has strong communication skills that can multi-task to join our 4 doctor practice on the upper west side of Manhattan. Symphony Veterinary Center has been serving this area for over 20 years. We offer uniform allowance.
Only people with veterinary/animal related experience should apply.
Qualifications
- Veterinary Technician Certification
- Proven veterinary experience with a strong understanding of veterinary terminology and animal physiology
- Proficient in animal handling, restraint, and catheterization techniques
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with pet owners and team members
- Familiarity with pet care practices and animal anatomy
- Experience in kennel operations and basic dental terminology is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
