Clinomics is part of the Clinglobal group, a global science-based and quality-driven group dedicated to accelerating innovation by providing services and solutions to the Animal Health industry. Clinomics employs a multidisciplinary team of scientists representing various research areas. We are currently recruiting for a Specialist: Scientific Services to join our team.
Primary Job Purpose
To conduct laboratory research activities, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely study execution. The role supports method validation, data quality control, laboratory maintenance, and continuous improvement while upholding regulatory standards and company policies
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in day-to-day research activities such as API preparation and management, contact assay preparations, tick micro-injections, larval development assays and observations, and other related research tasks to ensure safe and successful study practices
- Taking full responsibility for study conduct, schedule preparation, management of timelines, communication with manager, and for delivering efficient and high-quality research in line with compliance
- Validate and execute novel study models to high-quality in line with compliance and timelines
- Quality control of raw data as needed
- Identify and implement preventative measures in accordance with set instructions and procedures
- Maintain assigned laboratory spaces and equipment in good working order and cleanliness
- Review and compile controlled documents as needed
- Responsible for the critical review and evaluation of research procedures and processes to ensure scientific rigor, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Provide training to research and technical staff if required
Qualification, Training and Experience Requirements
- A Degree in Biological Sciences
- Project management experience will be advantageous
Specific skills and abilities required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Outlook, MS Teams, and Office 365
- Ability to work independently and be part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
