Our client is seeking a Lead Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Houston, Texas. This full-time leadership opportunity offers a mix of general practice and urgent care, allowing you to deliver high-quality medicine while guiding a clinical team.

The practice is modern and well-equipped, supporting a broad caseload including preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and urgent care. Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality clinical care including consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures n
- Lead, mentor, and support veterinary and support staff n
- Oversee clinical standards and ensure best practices across the hospital n
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and workflows n
- Manage a varied caseload including general practice and urgent care cases n
- Build strong client relationships through clear and compassionate communication n
- Collaborate with leadership to support hospital growth and performance n
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture n

Qualifications Needed
n
- n
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree n
- Eligible for or holding veterinary licensure in Texas n
- Strong experience in small animal medicine and surgery n
- Previous leadership experience or desire to step into a leadership role n
- Confidence managing both routine and urgent care cases n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills n
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities n
- Commitment to high standards of care and ongoing professional development n

- Salary range: $150,000 – $200,000 depending on experience n
