The Medical Director is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine while fostering a collaborative, positive hospital culture. This role combines clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring associate veterinarians, overseeing medical protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with hospital management to support the financial health and strategic growth of the practice.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree
- Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Texas
- DEA registration (or willingness to obtain)
- 3–5+ years of clinical experience
- Strong surgical, dental, and diagnostic skills
- Proven leadership, communication, and mentorship abilities
