Spay4LA is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced mobile spay/neuter team. We are a high-volume clinic performing approximately 35 surgeries per day. This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, efficient, and thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment. High-volume or surgical experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
This is a strictly mobile position. You will work in our RV clinic at various locations throughout Los Angeles County.
We are looking for someone who:

- Can remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Works well with a team and contributes to a positive, no-drama culture
- Is compassionate with animals while maintaining efficiency
- Is eager to learn and grow in veterinary medicine
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients for surgery
- Monitoring anesthesia and surgical patients
- Recovering patients post-operatively
- Wrapping and sterilizing surgical instruments and packs
- Animal handling and safe restraint
- Maintaining a clean and organized surgical environment
- Supporting veterinarians and the surgical team throughout the day
Bonus skills (not required):
- Willingness to train to drive our mobile clinic (RV) when needed
