\r\nSales Agronomist / Regional Agronomist \r\n\r\nWork Location: In person\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nOverview\r\n\r\nWe are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated to join sales agronomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of crop science, soil health, and sustainable farming practices, combined with a proven ability to drive territory growth and increase sales performance.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis role involves providing expert advice to farmers and agricultural clients, conducting research, and implementing innovative strategies to improve crop yields and environmental sustainability. The Agronomist will play a vital role in supporting agricultural productivity through scientific analysis, practical recommendations, and strategic relationship management.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tVisit producers on their farms to assess agronomic and crop production needs, while identifying opportunities to increase sales volume and expand territory market share.\r\n\tProvide agronomic advice, services, and professional recommendations on fertilizers, crop protection products, and seed solutions.\r\n\tPresent ASLE products and services to individual growers and producer groups.\r\n\tSchedule and conduct grower meetings, trade shows, and field demonstrations.\r\n\tDevelop opportunities to present ASLE research findings and on-farm trial data to support product performance and value.\r\n\tActively identify and pursue new business opportunities (delaers and distribution networks) to enhance ASLE’s market presence and territory growth.\r\n\tConduct field trials and product demonstrations to showcase agronomic solutions.\r\n\tProvide technical support and training to customers and internal team members as needed.\r\n\tStay current with industry trends, regulatory updates, and advancements in agronomy science and Ag technology.\r\n\tPerform additional duties as required.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQualifications & Requirements\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Science, Plant Science, or related field; advanced degrees are an asset.\r\n\tMinimum of 3 years of sales experience in fertilizer, crop input sales, or applied agronomy.\r\n\tStrong knowledge of soil science, plant physiology, pest management, and sustainable farming practices.\r\n\tExperience in soil sampling, crop advisory services, and modern farm management practices.\r\n\tDemonstrated knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.\r\n\tExperience with GIS, farm data platforms, and Ag technology is considered an asset.\r\n\tProven ability to work independently with strong time management, planning, and multitasking skills.\r\n\tExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.\r\n\tCertified Crop Advisor (CCA) designation is considered an asset.\r\n\tStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret agronomic and sales data accurately.\r\n\tDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.\r\n\tMust possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel within the territory.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCompensation & Benefits\r\n\r\nJob Type: Full-time\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBenefits include:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCompany vehicle\r\n\tDental care\r\n\tExtended health care\r\n\tVision care\r\n\tLife insurance\r\n\tDisability insurance\r\n\tRRSP match\r\n\tCompany events\r\n\tOn-site parking\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nInterested in joining out Team?
