Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a well-established first-opinion practice delivering high standards of companion animal care. This full-time role offers a balanced mix of consultations, diagnostics, and routine surgery, allowing you to manage cases from initial presentation through to treatment and follow-up.
Working within a supportive team environment, you will contribute to maintaining excellent clinical standards while building strong relationships with pet owners. The position includes a structured four-day working week and participation in a shared Saturday morning rota at a nearby branch, ensuring continuity of care across the service.
Qualifications Needed:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with eligibility to practise in the UK
- Background in small animal clinical practice
- Competence in routine medical and surgical procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills when communicating with pet owners
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative clinical team
