Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a well-established first-opinion practice delivering high standards of companion animal care. This full-time role offers a varied caseload of consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures, providing the opportunity to build meaningful client relationships while working within a supportive and collaborative clinical team.
The position includes occasional weekend, on-call, and bank holiday participation to assist a nearby 24-hour hospital, ensuring continuity of patient care across the wider service. This role would suit a veterinary surgeon who enjoys managing cases thoroughly while contributing to a positive team culture and maintaining excellent clinical standards.
Qualifications Needed:
- MRCVS registration with eligibility to practise in the UK
- Experience within small animal general practice
- Competence in routine surgical and medical procedures
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills when advising clients on treatment options
