The Maintenance Manger reports to the Feedyard Manager and is responsible for participating in all general yard maintenance, repair, and daily operations. The Yard Superintendent will also oversee and communicate all yard activities and troubleshoot daily yard requirements with the yard crew as necessary to ensure efficient yard operations. This position will be responsible for the operation of various heavy equipment and will ensure the general functionalities of the feedyard in conjunction with the Feedyard Manager.\r\n\r\nA Yard Superintendent will work closely with all feedyard departments both as an individual and as a member of a team to create the highest quality care and maintenance to ensure the welfare and functionality of the feedyard.\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSupervise and allocate tasks and responsibilities to the yard crew.\r\n\tOversee the repair and maintenance of all pens and cattle care facilities on a priority basis.\r\n\tEnsure that all roadways and alleys are maintained in order of priority.\r\n\tImplement and enforce all safety policies and regulations.\r\n\tEstablish and maintain water trough cleaning schedule as per company policy.\r\n\tCreate and maintain all preventative maintenance records for all yard equipment.\r\n\tCommunicate and collaboratively work with the feedyard manager regarding all feedyard operations.\r\n\tSupervise all maintenance activities in the shop.\r\n\tTrack and maintain yard expense and environmental records.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nBENEFITS:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nInsurance Benefits, PTO, Relocation\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
