Job Description: Our client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy and well-established practice located in the heart of Islington, London. This part-time opportunity offers the chance to work within a supportive team environment while providing high-quality veterinary care to a loyal client base.
The clinic is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities including digital radiography, ultrasound and dental imaging. Working alongside an experienced Lead Vet, skilled nursing team and dedicated client care staff, the successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of consultations, preventative healthcare and routine surgical procedures while building strong relationships with pet owners.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting consultations and performing thorough clinical examinations
- Managing medical cases and carrying out routine surgical procedures
- Preparing appropriate treatment plans and advising clients on ongoing care
- Ensuring patient records and clinical notes remain accurate and up to date
- Collaborating with veterinary nurses and reception staff to coordinate patient care
- Participating in weekend rotations within the local practice network
