Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a friendly first-opinion clinic undergoing a full refurbishment to create a modern and welcoming clinical space. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing consultations and diagnosing medical conditions in companion animals
- Carrying out surgical procedures appropriate to your level of experience
- Discussing treatment pathways and preventative healthcare with clients
- Overseeing patient progress from admission through recovery
- Liaising with support staff to maintain an efficient clinical workflow
Qualifications Needed:
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon eligible to practise in the UK
- Experience in small animal first-opinion practice
- Confidence handling routine surgical and medical cases
- Ability to work independently during sole charge periods
- Strong communication skills when supporting pet owners
