Job Description: Our client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established veterinary practice located in Middleton St George near Darlington. This opportunity is offered on a fixed-term basis and provides flexibility for veterinarians seeking part-time or full-time hours within a supportive clinical environment.
The practice has recently undergone renovations to expand its services, enabling the team to offer outpatient surgical procedures alongside consultations and preventative treatments. Working with an experienced veterinary and nursing team across the local network, the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload while benefiting from access to advanced facilities at a nearby 24-hour hospital.
Qualifications Needed:
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon eligible to practise in the United Kingdom
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Science from an accredited university
- Experience within small animal clinical practice preferred
- Confidence performing consultations and routine surgical procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a veterinary environment
