Job Details:This isa full-service, companion animal veterinary practice that has been serving Gander and a large portion of surrounding areas of central Newfoundland for over 30 years. The clinic only moved to its current location in 2009 and has continued to grow since then, with an expansion of services and products available to their clients.
They have an outstanding team of compassionate staff that works hard to meet the unique medical needs of the pets visiting them. From surgical and medical services to dental care and pet wellness, they offer a range of services for cats, dogs, exotic animals such as reptiles, parrots, rodents, hamsters and other types of companion animals. Their veterinarians are dedicated to meeting patients’ specific needs through preventative care, regular exams, surgical procedures and other medical services.
Their hospital is equipped with ultrasound, a surgical suite, digital x-ray, and laser therapy. They use MLS laser therapy post-surgery to help reduce pain and promote faster healing. They perform most diagnostic services at their clinic using the in-house lab equipment, allowing their veterinarians to get blood results on the same day. They also conduct muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary system X-ray for patients.
They are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian to join the team. The clinic is open five days a week, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and not open any evenings or weekends. They have a shared on-call arrangement with other clinics in the area, offering a very flexible work-life balance.
