If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You Will Do\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis position will function as a team member in the high throughput Seed\r\n\r\nQuality Testing Laboratory supporting the Product Supply Organization\r\n\r\nand key customers/colleagues in cross functional areas.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Tasks and Responsibilities:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\tTimely, accurate preparation, evaluation, and recording of seed analyses.\r\n\tComplete the testing processes ensuring process control, accurate data management, timely escalation of problem solving, and error correction.\r\n\tEffectively troubleshoot testing processes and ensure appropriate error resolution.\r\n\tAid in training new Lab Analysts.\r\n\tAbility to learn and apply scientific methods and non-routine techniques for analysis as directed by protocols and work instructions to deliver quality results - which may include preparation of reagents, media, controls and sample preparation.\r\n\tParticipate in Management of Change process and updates of testing protocols and work instructions.\r\n\tWork independently within a team environment to ensure all testing is conducted in compliance with Bayer ESH policies, Laboratory QMS and protocols, and Regulatory agency requirements.\r\n\tProvide oversight and task related feedback to contingent labor.\r\n\tMaintain reagents and consumables to required inventory levels.\r\n\tParticipate in special projects / teams.\r\n\tParticipate in a continuous improvement program focused on enhancing current processes and performing root cause analyses/troubleshooting of issues.\r\n\tActively engage in onePSS programs & initiatives.\r\n\tParticipate in Bayer’s ESH safety program and cross-site projects/initiatives.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor degree with 0 years of lab experience; or AA or AS degree with 2 year lab experience, or 5 years lab experience may substitute for education requirements;\r\n\tStrong knowledge of basic laboratory techniques;\r\n\tFluent in English with the ability to read, write, and speak effectively\r\n\r\n\r\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAbility to work as a team member and effectively communicate within a multicultural environment;\r\n\tDetailed oriented with the ability to multitask in a high throughput\r\n\r\n\r\nEnvironment;\r\n\r\n\r\n\tThis position may require a change in shift hours;\r\n\tWeekend and overtime work as required.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis posting will expire on January 1st, 2026. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEmployees can expect to be paid a salary between $ 47235.20 - 70852.80 per year.
