Job Purpose and Impact
The Legal Assistant will make independent decisions on litigation tasks and provide support for legal processes, including due diligence, litigation support, and other legal-related activities. They will assist in planning, organizing, and scheduling more complex administrative support. In this role, you will coordinate, integrate, and implement assigned administrative or staff functions.
Key Accountabilities
- Apply detailed knowledge of litigation tasks to perform moderately complex administrative processes.
- Manage Matter Reporting processes to General Counsel, CFO, Board and Auditors
- Schedule and coordinate meeting agendas, materials, minutes, virtual technology, and catering requests.
- Solicit, collect and organize documentation and data for legal processes to perform moderately complex data entry into one or more systems, including scanning, copying, mailings and obtaining physical/wet signatures, notarization, etc.
- Plans, coordinates and confirms logistics for more complex meetings and travel along with deposition and witness scheduling.
- Provide assistance and training to lower-level employees.
- Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting litigation or legal operations, preferably in commercial litigation or complex dispute environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot)
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting in-house legal departments or law firms.
- Familiarity with litigation management, document management, contract lifecycle management (CLM), and e-billing platforms.
- Strong understanding of litigation lifecycle and court procedures.

Compensation
The expected salary for this position is aprox $60k - $75k. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
