Job Details This role sits within the Capital Center of Excellence (Capital COE) and supports enterprise investment funding decisions by executing recurring reporting, Capital Expenditure Request (CER) quality checks, and governance process administration. The Cencora Business Services (CBS) Analyst produces draft deliverables prior to distribution.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports day-to-day execution of Cencora’s CER process through data extraction, data validation, and coordination of intake materials.
Performs completeness and quality checks on CER submissions and supporting materials and escalates gaps for follow-up.
Supports the monthly Enterprise Operating Team (EOT) investment review cadence through administrative and analytical preparation, including data mining for draft agenda support
Maintains Capital COE records covering approvals, workflow status, and follow-ups; updates action/decision logs based on meeting outputs and direction from the Capital COE Manager.
Executes audit support for sub-threshold projects as assigned, validating documentation completeness and summarizing findings for internal review.
Produces and refreshes recurring reporting outputs (Excel and Power BI), including validation of source extracts and reasonableness checks, mappings, and trends.
Provides support for planning and performance linkages, including assisting with monitoring capital entries and portfolio views.
Supports recurring capital content preparation (e.g., Monthly Business Review (MBR) CapEx materials and major project update consolidation) by managing templates, consolidating inputs, and maintaining version control.
Supports continuous improvement of the investment funding framework by documenting recurring issues, proposing template/process enhancements, and supporting testing for the CER application.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–6 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, reporting/analytics, FP&A, or related roles in a large/complex organization.
Demonstrated experience producing accurate, executive-facing deliverables.
Skills and Knowledge
Analytical and detail orientation with ability to execute processes with high accuracy and strong documentation discipline.
Strong organization, time management, and follow-through across multiple concurrent deadlines; able to escalate issues early with clear context and evidence.
Professional written communication skills and ability to coordinate with project teams and finance partners to collect inputs and resolve data/documentation gaps.
Advanced Excel skills and Power BI experience (e.g., dashboard refresh, Quality Assurance (QA), and data quality checks).
Experience with ERP/EPM tools (e.g., SAP and Hyperion/Essbase or similar) and enterprise project systems (ServiceNow SPM preferred).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Chartered Accountant qualification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is preferred.
- Knowledge and training using various data analytics software and visualization tools, e.g., SQL, SAS, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, etc is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
