Position Available: Production Supervisor, Grow-Finish\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nLocation: North Central Illinois\r\n\r\nReports To: Production Manager\r\n\r\nApplication Deadline: March 9, 2026\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAbout the Role\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Production Supervisor provides operations-level leadership and accountability for contract growers, independent caretakers, and HANOR employees in the Northern Illinois region. This position ensures the consistent execution of animal care, facility management, and production practices in alignment with The HANOR Way and HANOR Production Practices (HPP).\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nArea Snapshot\r\n\r\n\r\n\tGrow-finish operations with contract growers and HANOR caretakers\r\n\tDirect accountability for performance, compliance, and execution of daily practices\r\n\tBackup support for GDU & G.A.P. flows\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLead farm visits, coaching, and training to uphold standards for animal care, biosecurity, and facility management.\r\n\tParticipate in farm activities to model expectations and provide hands-on training.\r\n\tPartner with veterinarians, nutrition, and caretakers to manage feed, herd health, and marketing.\r\n\tPlan, schedule, and coordinate weekly priorities including markets, culls, and feed deliveries.\r\n\tHold contract growers, caretakers, and employees accountable for safety, compliance, and production results.\r\n\tReport KPIs and ensure consistent communication across farms.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.\r\n\tMinimum one year of successful grow-finish or swine production experience required.\r\n\tStrong organizational and communication skills; Spanish proficiency preferred.\r\n\tPQA and TQA certifications required; HANOR AWB training required.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe HANOR Way Core Values\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHave a Positive Impact - Advance Together - Nourish Understanding - Outperform - Remain Disciplined.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe full Job Description is available upon request from HR.\r\n\r\nThe HANOR Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.\r\n
