Your Role: As an Engineer on our Enterprise SaaS & Cloud team, you will be a key technical contributor to the digital heart of our production and regulatory facilities. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will learn to build and evolve our enterprise labeling and integration platforms, including Perigord GLAMS, Loftware, and SAP. This role is the perfect place to launch your career, providing a critical bridge between our manufacturing processes, regulatory compliance, and the SAP digital core. You will have the opportunity to grow your technical skills and business acumen in a collaborative, empowered product team that is helping to accelerate Elanco’s pipeline and augment our manufacturing capabilities.
Your Responsibilities:
Contribute to a Unified User Experience: Assist in configuring digital workflows in platforms like Perigord GLAMS and Loftware to help streamline MLR approvals for art and package printing.
Support Modern Integrations: Help implement and test integrations between our SaaS platforms and SAP, monitor data flows, and provide frontline support to ensure data integrity and high availability.
Ensure Lean Validation & Compliance: Execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for system enhancements and help generate clear, lean documentation to maintain GxP compliance and data integrity.
Collaborate and Learn: Partner with senior engineers and product managers to understand user problems, gather feedback, and learn to apply modern engineering practices to deliver valuable solutions.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Experience: Foundational knowledge of core IT concepts (like APIs, databases, or system integration) gained through academic projects, an internship, or equivalent practical experience.
Skills: Strong problem-solving ability and a demonstrated desire to learn new technologies and programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, JavaScript).
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and source control (e.g., Git).
An interest in or experience with GxP-regulated environments (e.g., Pharmaceutical, Animal Health).
A strong desire to challenge "the way it's always been done" to simplify processes.

Elanco currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from $82,000 to $98,000 depending partly on the successful candidate's qualifications, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending partly on company and individual performance). Additionally, Elanco offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees that includes a company-matching 401(k); vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities). Of course, the compensation is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
