Overview
We are seeking experienced, dedicated farm workers for our mixed operation.
Job 1 is to assist with various farm operations including seeding, spraying, harvesting, equipment maintenance and operation. Preference given to applicants with mechanical knowledge, experience operating farm machinery and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planting and harvesting of crops
- Operate a variety of farm machinery and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment
- Conduct general farm upkeep such as cleaning equipment and work areas
- Support crop rotation and soil preparation activities
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs
Job 2 is to assist with livestock care and management including calving, herd health, vaccinating, fencing, etc. Preference given to applicants with cattle handling experience, good animal husbandry and those who are detail oriented and self motivated.
Responsibilities
- Regular checking of cows and assist with calving when necessary
- Tag and vaccinate calves as they are born
- Evaluate animals for wellness
- Administer medications and vaccinations
- Check and maintain or repair fences and water supply

Job 1/2 Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of agriculture and farm maintenance practices
- Experience operating farm machinery and heavy equipment
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic issues with equipment
- Experience with livestock handling and management
- Good understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations related to farming tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Must be reliable, able to follow instructions carefully and work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in agriculture/livestock or related fields, hardworking and willingness to learn is essential

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
