Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate veterinary team activities, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional animal care.
- Supervise veterinary procedures including animal handling, restraint, catheterization, and critical care interventions.
- Oversee laboratory processes such as medical collection, sample processing, and maintaining aseptic techniques.
- Mentor team members on kennel management, pet grooming, animal husbandry, and dog training to enhance overall pet welfare.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary terminology standards and safety protocols across all clinical operations.
- Manage pet care routines including feeding, grooming, and behavioral training to promote optimal animal well-being.
- Facilitate ongoing staff training on animal anatomy knowledge, veterinary critical care procedures, and laboratory experience to foster professional growth.
Requirements
- Proven veterinary experience with strong knowledge of animal anatomy, restraint techniques, and veterinary terminology.
- Hands-on experience in animal husbandry, kennel management, pet grooming, and dog handling.
- Demonstrated expertise in veterinary critical care procedures such as animal catheterization and aseptic techniques.
- Laboratory experience including medical collection and sample processing is highly desirable.
- Prior leadership or team management experience within a veterinary or animal care setting preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of veterinary professionals.
