Our client is seeking a Hospital Veterinarian to join a modern, well-equipped small animal veterinary hospital in Mansfield, Texas. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality companion animal care within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology, allowing for a varied caseload including preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. You will work alongside an experienced veterinary and nursing team, with strong support systems in place to help you deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough physical examinations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans n
- Deliver preventative care, medical management, and surgical procedures n
- Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries including spays, neuters, and mass removals n
- Carry out dental procedures including radiographic evaluation and extractions n
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant medical records n
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care n
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure efficient hospital workflow n
- Participate in clinical discussions, case handovers, and team knowledge sharing n

Qualifications Needed

- n
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution n
- Eligible for or holding veterinary licensure in Texas n
- DEA licence (or ability to obtain) n
- Experience performing routine small animal surgical and dental procedures n
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities n
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment n
- Commitment to delivering high standards of clinical care n
