Job Details:
The primary purpose of this position is to lead and direct a GP PS Hatchery Team to deliver high‑quality products that meet customer expectations while achieving financial and business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing quality products to customers globally
- Achieving production and financial goals
- Developing and maintaining effective communication with customers, shared services, and other hatcheries
- Meeting HR and safety objectives that support hatchery facilities
- Developing, evaluating, and implementing new processes and technologies
- Maintaining compliance with domestic and international regulations governing Cobb business activities
- Recruiting, developing, and maintaining a qualified team

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a general professional field, typically obtained through four (4) years of college, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Experience
- Four (4) or more years of poultry management–related experience preferred.
Computer Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using available computer programs.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of:
- Four(4)+ salaried team members
- Approximately 40+ hourly team members
Travel
- Domestic travel approximately four (4) times per year.
Biosecurity Requirements
- This jobsite is a biosecure environment requiring shower‑in/shower‑out procedures, which may include multiple showers during the workday.
- The Company provides all required clothing and footwear.
- No jewelry may be worn except approved medical ID jewelry.
- Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with avian species (chickens, ducks, birds).
- Must follow the Company Animal Welfare Policy at all times.
- Must follow all Cobb Farms Hatcheries Biosecurity Standards.
Physical Requirements
- Must use safe lifting techniques.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk, and hear.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment
- Must follow all required safety procedures and wear designated personal protective equipment when visiting facilities.
