This individual will develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company. They will also be involved in field trials of Stokes product.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tResponsible for the sales and service of Stokes Seeds products\r\n\tLead the growth of Stokes Seeds' network of customers in the territory\r\n\tCollaborate with the VP Sales to develop the customer base, serve existing customers, and attract new customers\r\n\tEstablish, maintain, and collect data from product trials\r\n\tResponsible for trialing of pre-commercial products and identifying proper fits for the territory\r\n\tWork with breeder-producer suppliers in identifying new products and marketplace opportunities\r\n\tAssist in events in the territory (tradeshows, field days, sales meetings, etc.)\r\n\tResponsible for the brokering of vegetative cuttings to greenhouses in the territory\r\n\tMaintain expense budgets in alignment with regional objectives\r\n\tOther duties as assigned\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMust live in DE, MD or NJ\r\n\tMinimum of bachelor's degree preferred\r\n\t3-5 years of relevant work experience in sales\r\n\tVegetable seed industry preferred\r\n\tAgricultural experience/background\r\n\tBasic understanding of the growing, packing, and marketing of commercial produce\r\n\tMust be fluent in English, speaking and writing\r\n\tA proven customer relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills\r\n\tProfessional and assertive with strong communication skills; verbal, written, and active listening\r\n\tExcellent sales skills; gains trust, establishes business objectives, identifies customer needs, explores solutions, develops action plans, and overcomes objections through negotiation\r\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office application\r\n\tAbility to utilize available technology to enhance sales and service effectiveness\r\n\tMust be able to lift 40 lbs\r\n\tAbility to operate an automobile and hold a valid driver's license\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPlease submit your application by clicking APPLY TO THIS POSITION below.\r\n
