Our client is seeking a Veterinarian to join a well-established mixed animal hospital in Midland, Texas. This full-time opportunity offers exposure to a diverse caseload including small animal, equine, and large animal medicine, within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

The practice has grown over several decades into a full-service hospital providing advanced veterinary care. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys variety in their caseload, with flexibility to focus on small animal practice or develop large animal interests. Strong surgical interest is preferred, particularly within small animal medicine.

Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions n
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on diagnostic findings n
- Carry out routine surgical procedures and prescribe medications n
- Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret laboratory results n
- Provide preventative healthcare and client education n
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records n
- Deliver compassionate end-of-life care and support n
- Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and clinical standards n
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure efficient workflow n

Qualifications Needed

- n
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution n
- Eligible for or holding veterinary licensure in Texas n
- Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD licence n
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities n
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset n
- Interest in mixed animal practice (small animal focus preferred) n
- Open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates n
