Our client is seeking a Hospital Medical Leader to join a modern small animal veterinary hospital in Los Angeles, California. Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality patient care through examinations, diagnostics, treatment, and surgery n
- Lead and mentor the veterinary team, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture n
- Oversee clinical standards, protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives n
- Review hospital performance metrics including P&L and operational efficiency n
- Partner with regional leadership to drive hospital growth and performance n
- Perform routine and advanced procedures including surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics n
- Ensure accurate and compliant medical record keeping n
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent communication and service n
- Support staff development through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing n

Qualifications Needed

- n
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution n
- Active veterinary licence (or ability to obtain) in California n
- Previous leadership experience (Medical Director, Lead Vet, or similar) preferred n
- Strong clinical skills in small animal medicine and surgery n
- Experience managing hospital operations or interest in leadership development n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills n
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment n
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and clinical excellence n
