Independantly owned small animal hospital in the beautiful town of Fergus Ontario seeking part time RVT (with potential for full time as of June/26). Our hospital is dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care in a modern facility within a 30min commute of Guelph, K/W, and surrounding area. Our ideal candidate must be reliable, have an interest in anesthesia/pain management, and have excellent communication skills. We would love to support an RVT that wants to develop a special area of interest (e.g. behaviour, dentistry, nutrition, etc), however this is not a requirement.
Our hospital is made up of a friendly, dedicated team, with a focus on helping animals stay healthy, and ensuring they live their best possible lives. Our main focus is dogs and cats, but we also volunteer as a first responder clinic for the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes OAVT dues, CE allowance, uniform allowance, flexibility in schedule/time off, and employee and pet benefits. Starting schedule would be Wednesdays and Fridays. No weekends.
Experience is preferred, however new grads are welcome to apply.
Pay range $24-32/hr commensurate with experience
