Your Role:PH Para Vet Category Lead
As the PH Para Vet Category Lead, you will be responsible for the overall Veterinary Parasiticide portfolio strategy and customer offer across the UK and Ireland. In this role, you will manage a team to deliver brand strategies, launch executions, and drive category performance while collaborating closely with the Head of Marketing and international teams to align local goals with global objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the parasiticide portfolio and channel strategy, including launch plans and strategic decisions around POM/OTC status, aligned with global and regional directions.
- Manage the marketing OPEX budget to ensure efficient campaign spend, resource allocation, and measurement of Return on Investment (ROI).
- Analyze customer needs and market intelligence through regular field visits and research to inform pricing, brand activation, and customer value offers.
- Manage and develop direct reports within the veterinary parasiticide category to maximize team performance and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee the production and supply of compliant promotional materials, acting as the Promotional Materials Owner to ensure alignment with local SOPs and external agency management.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Business.
- A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience with specific exposure to the UK & Ireland parasiticide market and corporate customers.
- Proven experience in team management combined with the ability to develop insights and build strong activation plans.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- MBA or professional marketing qualification.
- Ability to manage significant marketing OPEX and make complex decisions with financial risk/reward outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in working effectively with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Finance, and Sales.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong drive for execution and personal accountability.
- Mastery of project approval requirements and compliance policies.
Additional Information:
- Travel: Approximately 30% annually (regularly within UK/Ireland and occasionally globally).
