Racing Forensics is hiring a part-time Registered Veterinary Technicians or Equivalent Veterinary Technician for equine venipuncture at Hiawatha Horse Park.
Shifts are available on Saturdays from May 23 - September 26.
Training will be provided. Excellent compensation.
Duties
- Collect blood samples from horses and/or administer IV medication
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure chain-of-custody of samples
- Complete official documentation and records
Skills/Experience
- Registered Veterinary Technicians
- Experience working with horses
- Proficient in phlebotomy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
