Veterinary Sonographer (Virtual)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients virtually in obtaining high-quality ultrasounds on various small animals.
- Collaborate with veterinarians to collect pertinent clinical patient history.
- Provide instructions to ensure animals are positioned correctly and are comfortable during procedures.
- Communicate how to operate ultrasound equipment with precision and care.
- Clear and concise communication skills using veterinary medical terms.
- Document and communicate sonographic findings to the veterinary team.
- Stay up to date with the latest in veterinary sonography techniques and technology.
Qualifications:
- Licensing in Sonography with RDMS or RDCS is required. Abdomen experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in veterinary or animal healthcare settings is preferred.
- Demonstrates a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Skilled in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting diagnostic images accurately.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively with veterinary staff.
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work well within a team.
- Highly motivated to provide ultrasound guidance and support to veterinary staff remotely.
- Resourceful in delivering virtual assistance and support to clients as needed.
- Capable of working independently in a remote setting as part of our WSYS team.
