This individual will be in charge of our Propane Fleet (5-7 drivers), Service Manager & Techs (4), Transport (3), Oil & Lubes Specialist (1), and Admin Assistants (2). This is a management position and the Director will have some responsibility for purchases and will take point on propane commercial sales.\r\n\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProvide resolution to customer complaints and/or inquiries\r\n\tCrosstrain in the service and delivery area to ensure timely response to general customers’ needs in propane and refined fuels where offered\r\n\tTake responsibility for team regarding all aspects of each individual’s daily tasks and actions\r\n\tManages the pricing strategy while working closely with Inventory and upper management\r\n\tWorks closely with Director of Marketing on advertisement\r\n\tProactively develop long and short-range planning, policies, programs, and objectives of Monte Vista Cooperative in relation to the Energy Department\r\n\tMeets with customers to understand their energy and lubricant system needs\r\n\tStay up to date on current regulations for propane, gas, diesel, etc. at the Federal and State level\r\n\tMaintaining knowledge on tax regulations for all energy products at the Federal and State level\r\n\tResponsible for oversight and management of CDL & Hazmat training\r\n\tMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain good customer relations\r\n\tMust be able and willing to work alone, schedule work as needed and be on-call\r\n\tOversight of entire Energy department, setting goals and expectations and holding them accountable for performance\r\n\tAssist with dispatching CDL drivers and maintaining schedules\r\n\tSelf-motivated to help make deliveries when staff is short handed\r\n\tMust have the ability to effectively lead employee meetings as well as present information and ideas\r\n\tProvide advice and approval regarding staffing needs and decisions\r\n\tCollaborate and assist the Safety Director with the annual insurance audit, policy development and implementation. Ensure safety compliance standards are being achieved\r\n\tConduct safety meetings and trainings as needed\r\n\tOversee tank file maintenance and accuracy\r\n\tAdminister equipment needs, replacements and maintenance at all locations\r\n\tManage each bulk plant location\r\n\tFollow EPA and DOT compliance\r\n\tContinual CETP education requirements\r\n\tMonitor CDL driver qualifications, keeping licenses valid, Homeland Security clearance, and valid DOT physical requirements\r\n\tTrain and operate Transloader unload\r\n\tOther duties as assigned\r\n\r\n\r\nSkills:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStrategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop a clear vision that translates into performance goals.\r\n\tBusiness Acumen: A solid understanding of the Oil and Gas industry dynamics and practices.
