Background
The EMPOWER Project was initiated in the BOSOWA region in February 2026 and has recently been extended by Cargill, with a specific focus on the Poso area until August 2026. This extension, under the EMPOWER PLUS initiative, aims to address emerging needs and strengthen the sustainability of project outcomes. Key priorities include strengthening the implementation of a risk-based Child Labor Monitoring and Remediation System (CLMRS), expanding market access and livelihood opportunities for youth, and supporting youth-led cocoa agribusiness initiatives aligned with market demand.
The project will be implemented in partnership with YPAL in Poso. To ensure effective coordination, monitoring, and implementation of activities at the field level, we are seeking a qualified EC Program Assistant to join the team.
