EDC Associate

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Within Veterinary medicine Research and Development (VMRD), the candidate will be a member of the global electronic data capture (EDC) team. Candidate will assist in electronic data capture system and administrative tasks associated with clinical studies to support global VMRD Projects.
Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Administration support activities: Managing multiple Outlook Calendars, maintaining internal EDC tracking system, performing initiation and archival of EDC studies, etc.
- Administration support in maintaining EDC system user access for internal and external users, including setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for study users and clinical staff.
- Initiate and archive EDC studies, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Administration support and maintenance for SharePoint, dashboards, and any other shared systems.
- Administration support in EDC owned hardware (i.e. Computers or Tablets) maintenance, setup, and shipping
- Assisting in the building of clinical studies in an electronic data capture system
- Assisting in training of investigators and other study site personnel on EDC processes and best practices.
- Assisting in the study organization for scheduling EDC studies
- Serving as a communication link between the EDC team and other VMRD groups and/or study sites and external EDC companies.
- Collaborating with internal partner groups to plan, conduct, analyze, and report studies using EDC.
- Providing EDC-related project updates to clinical teams and sub-teams
- Performing data verification for Medrio studies to ensure data integrity.
- Organizing and preparing electronic data for government regulatory submissions; respond to internal and external audits.
- Creating and delivering copies of study data for sites for EDC studies.
- Management of the library of data forms that are used to capture study data
- Troubleshoot data and EDC issues with customers though ad-hoc investigations

- Clinical study experience
- Ability to work well with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Ability to identify and utilize the most appropriate communication type based on the situation at hand. For example, some colleagues can be helped over email or phone, while others require an office visit or Zoom session to appropriately reconcile an issue.
- Patience to work through complex issues with colleagues in multiple locations
- Strong computer technical skills
