CDL Driver, Live Haul & Feed\r\n \r\n\r\nLocation: Leggett, North Carolina | Reports To: Transportation Manager\r\nApplication Deadline: Monday, April 27, 2026\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAbout the Role\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe CDL Driver, Live Haul & Feed is responsible for safely transporting pigs and feed between farms and designated locations while ensuring compliance with HANOR biosecurity, animal welfare, and transportation standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency of daily operations and supporting overall production success in alignment with The HANOR Way.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nNorth Carolina Area Snapshot\r\n\r\n\r\n\tServes multiple farms and production sites across the region\r\n\tResponsible for both live animal transport and feed delivery\r\n\tDirect impact on animal welfare, biosecurity, and operational flow\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSafely operate CDL-required vehicles to transport pigs and feed between locations\r\n\tLoad, unload, and handle livestock in accordance with animal welfare standards\r\n\tFollow strict biosecurity protocols at all farm and facility locations\r\n\tComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs\r\n\tCoordinate schedules for deliveries, pickups, and routes with management\r\n\tEnsure proper handling and delivery of feed to designated farms\r\n\tMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of trucks and trailers\r\n\tReport any mechanical issues, delays, or concerns promptly\r\n\tComply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tValid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required\r\n\tExperience hauling livestock and/or agricultural products preferred\r\n\tStrong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance\r\n\tAbility to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends\r\n\tAbility to lift, push, and pull as required for loading/unloading\r\n\tStrong attention to detail and communication skills\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe HANOR Way Core Values\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHave a Positive Impact - Advance Together - Nourish Understanding - Outperform - Remain Disciplined\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe full Job Description is available upon request from HR.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe HANOR Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.\r\n
