Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone. Tasks are varied because no two days are the same in a rural retail store and you will work across a variety of activities including;\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAssist customers with product questions and pricing, providing clear and friendly service in-store and by phone.\r\n\tManage inventory, order goods, receive deliveries, and arrange dispatches using store systems to ensure stock accuracy.\r\n\tProcess counter sales accurately, handle payments, and answer customer inquiries.\r\n\tFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.\r\n\tSupport promotional activities, setting up signage and displays to boost product visibility.\r\n\tKeep the store tidy and welcoming and greet all customers warmly.\r\n\tLoad/unload trucks, unpack deliveries, and prepare orders for dispatch with care.\r\n\tOccasionally deliver products directly to farms, ensuring timely and professional service.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You'll Bring:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tYou must demonstrate a passion for customer service as well as a positive approach and the determination to succeed\r\n\tIdeally you will have exposure to or a strong passion in farming and agriculture with the enthusiasm to learn about new products\r\n\tPrevious success in a retail sales or customer service role is highly advantageous\r\n\tYou will be a self-motivated person capable of nurturing and sustaining strong customer relationships with the ability to follow through and “get the job done” in a fast-paced environment\r\n\tYou will be keen to learn all aspects of retail operations and sales, and be confident using computer software systems such as SAP\r\n\tYou will have a current driver’s license and ideally a forklift ticket (Desirable)\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You'll Get:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tA competitive remuneration package\r\n\tAccess to incentive programs\r\n\tPurchased leave scheme benefits\r\n\tAn additional day of leave – Nutrien Day\r\n\tOpportunities to support community partnerships across our network\r\n\tBe a member of a company committed to feeding the future\r\n\tOngoing training and development to pursue individual ambitions\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAre you a good match?
