As our operations expand, we are seeking an experienced Poultry Farmer to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for agriculture and livestock management who are looking to grow their careers in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily care, feeding, and monitoring of poultry stock
Monitoring bird health and behaviour; identifying and treating illnesses
Managing temperature, ventilation, and lighting systems
Maintaining cleanliness and biosecurity standards
Record-keeping of flock performance and farm activities
Operation and basic maintenance of farm equipment
Assisting with breeding programs and hatchery operations as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience working in poultry farming or livestock management
Sound knowledge of poultry husbandry and biosecurity practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and willing to work in rural or regional settings
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,500.00 – $85,789.60 per year
