We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Technician to give great customer service to our clients and support our Vet Techs. You’ll play an important role in bringing comfort to our furry patients, customers and ensuring the smooth running of our facility. As a Vet Assistant one of the most important responsibilities is to ensure all areas are clean, for animals and humans alike. We’ll rely on you to assist the Vet Techs with exams and procedures. If you’re organized, have great customer service skills, are quick on your feet and have the stomach to help with medical procedures, we’d like to meet you!

Seeking a reliable and preferably experienced full time Veterinary Assistant/kennel technician for a fast paced small animal hospital and boarding facility.
Must work some Saturdays/Sundays and required to work most holidays.
Pay is based on experience.
Kennel Tech responsibilities include: cleaning/disinfecting both dog and cat kennels, feeding/watering, giving medications, bathing & trimming nails, some grooming (shaving down dogs and lots of brushing!), and some cross training with assisting at the vet hospital.
General cleaning duties including, but not limited to: laundry, sweeping/mopping, scrubbing kennels, and cleaning boarding facility, as well as, keeping everything neat and tidy.
Looking for someone with great customer service skills, a positive attitude and who loves animals!
Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
General computer skills and phone etiquette knowledge preferred.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
