Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time associate veterinarian.. You will be responsible for all aspects of veterinary medicine: routine exams, sick visits, surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, urgent and emergency care. The ideal candidate will be compassionate with animals and clients, out-going with staff and have a strong desire to stay long-term and grow within a supportive practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Wellness exams, sick visits, surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, urgent and emergency cases
Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, injuries and illnesses
Advising clients on best care practices throughout different life stages
Conduct all appropriate diagnostic tests
Communicate effectively with pet owners about diagnosis, treatments options and preventative care
Collaborate with team members to provide the best possible care for each patient
Quality of life and End-of-life consultations with owners.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD or equivalent)
Pennsylvania veterinary medical license
Previous experience in a veterinary hospital preferred
Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
A compassionate and dedicated approach to patient care
