Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to animals while assisting veterinarians in various clinical tasks. Duties

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures
Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, including X-rays
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient
Provide proper animal restraint and handling techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff
Implement aseptic techniques during surgical procedures and maintain cleanliness in the clinic environment
Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry practices and post-treatment care
Monitor animals' vital signs and overall health during critical care situations
Assist with kennel duties, including feeding, cleaning, and exercising animals

Qualifications

Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy is essential
Experience in animal handling and restraint techniques is preferred
Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices is a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a compassionate demeanor toward animals and their owners
Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable
Aseptic technique knowledge is beneficial for surgical assistance
