Now Hiring – Veterinary Assistant (No Experience Required)

We are excited to welcome a new team member to our clinic! No prior veterinary experience is required — we are willing to train the right person.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be actively involved in learning the ins and outs of veterinary medication and daily clinic operations. We have a supportive team ready to train and guide you, but we need someone who is eager to jump in and contribute.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Monitor animal patients during anesthesia and recovery.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
Provide education to pet owners regarding animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Handle animals safely and compassionately during examinations and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including surgical areas and equipment.
Utilize aseptic techniques during surgical procedures to prevent infection.
Support kennel operations including feeding, cleaning, and exercising animals.
