Client Service Rep/Veterinary Assistant

Combination of remote & in-office work / Flexible hours

We are looking for an organized, pro-active, and compassionate Receptionist/Vet Assistant to join our small, but dedicated Mobile Veterinary team. We offer a high-touch, personalized service -- our clients love us as much as we love them! So, excellent client care and communication are at the heart of this role.

Your role:

Provide exceptional services & support to our clients & their pets
Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, text messages and emails with warmth & professionalism
Maintain accurate patient records and update client information in our veterinary software
Handle billing procedures accurately
Manage inventory of office supplies and veterinary products
Manage social media accounts
Assist with in-person/housecall visits with the veterinarian (training provided)

Who You Are:

Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception role preferred but not necessary
Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently
Self-starter who takes initiative
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards clients and animals
Proficiency in computer systems and comfortable with learning new systems
Passionate about animal care-gentle & confident handling skills are a plus!
Ability to work well as part of a small team and independently when necessary
Comfortable working on a computer in a vehicle during housecall visits (no motion sickness preferred!)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
