Join our exclusive seahorse aquaculture farm as an Aquaculture Specialist / Aquarist / Tour Guide. You’ll combine hands-on care of seahorses with leading private, reservation-only tours and interactive guest experiences, including the Seahorse Holding Experience and tide pool encounters.

Key Responsibilities

Lead private tours following a scripted program.
Serve as animal handler during the Seahorse Holding Experience and tide pool encounters.
Follow feeding protocols and assist in live feed production (algae, copepods, Artemia).
Maintain tanks through siphoning and pressure-washing.
Follow protocols for the proper operation of pumps, filters, aeration, and temperature controls.
Keep work and guest areas clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications

Experience in aquaculture, aquarium systems, or marine animal care preferred.
Knowledge of live feed production is a plus.
Strong communication skills; comfortable delivering scripted tours.
Physically able to perform tank maintenance and handle live animals.
Passion for marine life and ocean conservation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
