Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any conditions.
Perform surgical procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest standards of aseptic technique.
Utilize veterinary terminology effectively when communicating with staff and pet owners.
Provide emergency care and critical care management for animals in need.
Handle animals safely and humanely, using proper animal restraint techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous education and training.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Proven experience in veterinary practice, with a strong emphasis on emergency medicine.
Experience in veterinary critical care is highly desirable.
Prior experience in emergency medicine is considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $168,000.00-$185,000.00 per year
