A challenge you can enjoy

This position works on the animal husbandry and propagation team, caring for and propogating/breeding fish and invertebrates. Daily tasks include, food preparation, feeding, animal inventory control, live food cultures, coral propogation, cleaning, packout, stock acclimation and treatment, order control and more. The ideal candidate enjoys working with aquatic animals, geeks out about life support and disease treatment even on thier own time, and has a general love for all things aquatic.

Ability to work directly with aquatic animals, plants and invertebrates every day!

Job Requirements include:

· Ability to repeatedly lift boxes and containers with water of up to 70 Lbs.

· Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as bend and twist

· Ability to operate a manual pallet jack and other support equipment if necessary

· Ability to mop, sweep clean and keep aquariums maintained

· Have a working knowledge of marine or freshwater animals

· Be proficient in Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)

· Practice Drug-Free Work Ethic and be punctual

· Ability to work additional hours and flex work hours based on business needs

· Proficiency with basic business software, Word, Excel, Outlook, keyboarding and phone apps

Additional preferred skills will affect compensation:

· Knowledge of freshwater, plants and/or Marine species of fish and coral

· Biology or Marine Sciences Degree or trade school

· Reef aquarium knowledge

· Aquatic or public aquarium experience

Salary: $19-$20 per hour based on your experience.
