Beattie Pet Hospital Stoney Creek is seeking a Client Services Representative (CSR) to join our fast-paced, animal-loving team. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clients and veterinary team.

What You’ll Do:

Greet and assist clients in person, by phone, and email
Schedule appointments for veterinarians and technicians
Maintain accurate electronic medical records
Process payments and prepare invoices
Keep the reception area clean and welcoming

A non-client calls in and asks an employee (not yourself) if a specific diet food their pet is on is in stock. This employee tells the client yes it is and sets the bag aside. The caller shows up later to pick up the food and tells you it is the wrong food. Furthermore, the food they actually needed is not in stock and the person is upset because they drove a half hour here to get there.

How would you handle this situation?

A client is here with their pet for their vaccine booster and finishes in the room and starts to walk out. You catch them and explain that there is a charge for the appointment but the client tells you they were told there wouldn't be a charge.
